This evening air pollution is at escalated levels within Congleton.
It is currently 10 times the recommended level that is set out by the WHO (world health organisation)
Humidity and weather do impact air quality masssively, however it is likely that people who have been plunged into fuel poverty are more than likely using coal/wood fires far more in order to keep warm this winter, rightly so given the situation.
I will do further research into air pollution and its chronic health effects this week.
